CONNECT WITH Your unique SOMATIC INTELLIGENCE

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, There is a field. I'll meet you there.” -Rumi

Bodywork grounded in presence

Intentional bodywork sessions are an opportunity to explore how you relate with yourself.

Each session is uniquely crafted to address what is present at the time of your visit. Tuning in through conversation and connection, we collaborate to create the framework for our time together with intention and presence.

By slowing down and getting quiet, we begin to hear our Story – How well do you know your own narrative? Are your beliefs enmeshed with your emotional experience?

We ground our experience by dropping into Somatics What sensations are present? Can you notice any shifts in your felt experience?

To honor our primal nature and the brilliance of our animal bodies, we acknowledge the State of the Nervous System – Where are you now? How are you riding the waves of your autonomics?

As the session moves into hands-on bodywork, your awareness of story, somatics, and state accompanies us. Can you witness your own body, emotions, and thoughts? Where might more intimacy and connection be possible?

Intentional bodywork sessions are collaborative and require full participation from both parties. They ask for presence, self-awareness, and radical self-responsibility. We are in continuous dialog throughout the duration of the session to keep communication clear and consciousness mapped – full body. This establishes trust and a felt sense of safety within the soma.

To conclude our session time together, we pause for integration and reconnection. We’ll discuss any significant moments that surfaced and how they relate to your experience as a whole.

What wisdom is waiting for you within your own flesh? What knowing is held deep in your bones? Can you touch these parts of yourself and bear witness to all that you are, and all that is?

My role as a hands-on practitioner is to reflect what I am sensing with my hands. By getting quiet and slowing down, we make space for what is longing to be seen. This allows for your unfiltered, untamed, fullest expression of Self. We pay attention to where things may be stagnant, resistant, and significant. Through our work together, we’ll explore how the power of witnessing creates an invitation for shift.

Is intentional bodywork right for you?

Intentional bodywork isn’t for everyone – here’s how to know if this approach is a good fit for you:

  • You’re tired of more conventional approaches to resolving your physical pain and discomfort

  • You want support integrating what has been unearthed through other modalities/approaches

  • You are interested in innate healing and working with the wisdom of the body

  • You deeply value curiosity

  • You appreciate Co-creating/Collaborating and are working towards self-facilitation

  • You have an orientation to the relationship between energy and matter, formless and form, spirituality and lived experience

Intentional bodywork is not right for you if:

  • You believe your body is broken or something to be “fixed”

  • You’re looking for a quick/easy remedy or solution

  • You favor hierarchical and transactional relationships over self-responsibility

  • You are uninterested in examining your beliefs and your relationship with them

  • You reject the notion that you have agency, power, and the capacity to influence your own healing
